Weekly Email!

Monday: I'm reading in Ether in the book of Mormon. I like it..i'm not in love with it...maybe in due time i'll be in love with it. We went around town and took pictures. As you can see I am jealous that the elders get to ride bikes so I wanted to take a turn! lol We got fed by the hoppers and I am eternally grateful!

Tuesday: District meeting was fun. The terry's weren't there and that was weird. We had lunch, I am learning to play some songs on the piano thanks to the sullivans! We went to this ladies home thinking she lived there and ended up it was a guy named Rashad! He said he doesn't open the door for church ladies and he said he felt something tell him to open the door. we plan on going back on Thursday! (: We went to sister holloways and that was fun! she has a 3 legged dog named Quarter!

Wednesday: We have been playing tennis in the mornings and I wish I would have asked Clint to teach me how to play better! I am not that great! But I just like running around and making really loud grunting noises! We saw diamond and I just love her! We could be like distant cousins or something! Then we went to see greg and he said that he has got our backs when we are in his hood! I felt pretty cool! We had a lesson with Quentin and it was outside and it was so hot!!! Sister parker brought us dinner and then she convinced/ forced us to be apart of this musical number for this Sunday!! AH! Oh I sewed elder waites pants and they didn't tear! I am so proud...they looked a little rough but hey they're fixed!

Thursday: I read enos, jarom and Omni and I love how awesome they are at keeping journals! Sis Aiono and I likened the devil to turkey bacon...its fake...you think you are winning because you think youre getting bacon and in all seriousness you get tricked. Go for the Pork! Go for the 100%! Real Bacon...a Real God. We saw sister reams and we also saw the littles!

Friday: I studied about patriarchal blessings and I read 1 nephi 16! I really love that there are lots of parallels in that to our patriarchal blessings. We went to the relief society activity and that was super!! (: I loved it! We went to the baptism! We then went to bro moores!

Saturday: We have new senior missionaries in our ward. We sang in church that was super duper fun! We have a new ward mission leader! We hungout with the ivanichjs...

Weekly Email!

Monday: Brother Bellamy wanted to buy us lunch so he ordered pizza for us and the elders. We ate and then we went home and napped. LOL I have the hardest time wanting to do something fun on pday other than get some sleep! Oh i met a gay priest, his name is Christopher he was so sweet!
Tuesday: We had District Meeting and Elder Muhlestein did a pretty good job. He had an object lesson *cue the oos and ahhhs* and then we did a get to know you game. I'm going to be completely honest I didn't write very much in my journal this day so...yeah.
Wednesday: Brother Moore invited us to go to a BBQ for the Masons...I still have no idea what a mason is. We then went to West End Mall and talked to Q about the gospel. We invited her to come to church and then we went finding in the neighborhoods around there. I met an Albino man, he is so beautiful!!! I love albino people. We knocked on so many doors and no one answered..well this one lady did and she screamed at us.  We got fed by Sister Holland! She is such a sweet lady! <3 We went to church and sister Aiono did family history because well I don't have any info to put into my family history so...yeah. I hung out with sister Kembe Sullivan and Corbin her son (who is 5). I asked Corbin if he was going to serve a mission and he said yes! I asked him where he would want to serve and he said Utah! LOL I love it! Watch out Utah! (:  Oh and i ate a bowl of ice cream in bed and i have no shame in that.
Thursday: I had a dream that Usher fell madly in love with me and decided to join the church and we went on a couples mission.  Don't have ice cream before you go to bed. You have weird dreams! We went to Lorenzo's and taught him. Also we had weekly planning which is ALWAYS eventful....not. I don't like planning so i will have to think of some ways to make it more fun. We had a lesson with kristi and i used my moms weekly scripture she gave me to teach her. I thought it was pretty appropriate! (: Kristi knows how to braid and i am thinking of getting my hair braided but not sure if i wanna spend money on my hair...
Friday: We went tracting around 30310 and we went to this one house that had a bird house that looked just like their home! Come to find out its a little library!! (((: Its so cute! You can put books in and you can take books out! We went to the freeman's and taught keira. We taught her word of wisdom. We are preparing her for baptism. Sister Aiono and i like to play mash when we go to the church for lunch. Its pretty fun! We had a lesson with john. We locked our keys in the church so we had to wait for our District Leader to come save us! lol We then went to sister colbert's house to get fed!  She has done 400 names in the temple! She is seriously so cool.
Saturday: We had a service project and I have decided that sweat is a fashion statement. The yard looks FANTABULOUS though! (: I loved that we had the opportunity to serve a sister in our ward! My back as killing me. The elders were all singing the prayer by celine deon. That was hilarious. We went home and showered. Then we were back to work even though we were EXHAUSTED.
Sunday: I made cookies for the elders. They turned out AMAZING!!  President and sister foote came to the Atlanta Ward! They gave incredible talks on the savior. Sunday was extremely perfect for me. I feel like every Sunday i feel more and more appreciative of my savior and the sacrament. I realized what was missing all these Sundays. I missed my family sitting beside me, partaking of the sacrament and being together. That is the higlight of every sunday and I want that same thing for my future family. (: I love Sabbath day!! We colored with the primary kids and then we had correlation meeting. Elder Robison brought his kangaroo pouch and i definately want one. So he said he would get me one.
ALSO TURKEY BACON IS REVOLTING. WHAT AN IMPASTA!
I would invite yall to pray for opportunities to tell people about the Savior and your beliefs. Whether you are a member of the church or not. Tell someone about your beliefs. It will help them reflect upon their own beliefs and really help them grow.
I love yall! Thanks for all the support and I'm sorry if i don't email you back quickly, know that i love you!

Monday: Woke up and cleaned the apartment. For personal study I read in the chapter Mormon and that was really quite insightful. He is a pretty cool guy! I would've been BFFS with him. My dear friend Dave Chalk passed away 2 weeks ago and I am just so grateful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation. I know he is doing missionary work and continuing to be a blessing to all who meet him. I am saddened that I had a prompting to email him a few weeks ago and never did. I would invite you all to listen to the promptings of the spirit, even if you think its a minuscule thought. The North Point Sisters came with us to the Civil and Human Rights Museum. That was  incredible! I cant even tell you how impactful it is. The fact that I have a blended family is just such a blessing to me, I love this day and age we live in!! (: I got some letters from my mom and family! I got an awesome cactus necklace that I absolutely adore! (:

Tuesday: We didn't have district meeting and that through me off. We went to College Football Hall of Fame. This sweet guy we met at Walmart told us he could give us free tickets and it was his day off that he took us there! (: It was pretty cool! I am not a huge fan of college football or football in general other than watching it. I could care less who did what...but it was still fun! We met a guy from the Virgin Islands and his hair looked just like MINE! (: We had dinner with Amy Evans again, I really do love her! She is so great! She ordered pizza and a pizza cookie. We talked about weird elders, fun mission stories and the Atlanta ward. She said something that was very profound to me and I love it so much! "The work will go forth whether you are apart of it or not " This is SO true!

Wednesday: We studied at the temple and that was really spiritual. I miss going to the temple. I have only gone once since ive been here. The sisters met us there and we did exchanges. I stayed in Atlanta and I was with sister suda! She sprained her ankle so it was a pretty relaxed day. We visited sister shedrick, Diamond and Sister Matele! I love those sisters so much!!

Thursday: We exchanged back with our companions and I missed my aussie! We had district meeting and interviews with the mission president! I love President Foote! He is my mission president, I am so grateful for the direction he is taking! It is definitely inspired! The zone leaders threw the bag of peanuts all over our car...im still trying to figure out how elder dimanche got the keys...That crazy Haitian. So we got the water pump/gun and sprayed them! It was pretty legit! Anyways on a serious note though...Elder Dimanche doesn't receive letters or packages so if anyone wants to be kind and write him that would be sweet! Email me and let me know if you do and I can give you his address! (: We met Sister Kelley, she is 101 years old!! (: She loves DR. PEPPER & loves caring for people! We are going back tomorrow to hangout with her some more! Sister Reams fed us and man...she went all out!!!

Friday: Sister Kelley has the best memory ever! She fed 6 missionaries in London England and guess who was one of them? I'll give you a hint. He ran for president. MITT ROMNEY! Sister Kelley showed us a picture so he is the missionary dead center in the middle of the picture. She was so sweet, we sang her songs and she didn't know I was black and when she found out she got really excited! It was precious!

Saturday: My favorite scripture today is 2 cor. 12:9, I love it! I called people out of the area book for a while that's really fun. I decided if I cant make it into medical school, ill become a secretary. LOL im kidding but it would be fun! We went to the baptism for Roger and Calvin and that was AWESOME! President and sister Foote came! Oh and so did elder Leavitt! We had the opportunity to meet sister Jimmy Sheperd and she is incredible! (:

Sunday: So about 10 mins into ward council someone walks in...wearing all white and everyone stops and stares. Come to find out its the guy that wanted to marry sister daffer and I spiritually to our spouses. He came to church! That was a blessing! We got to hangout with primary and nursery. That was really great! (: I got to be the scripture fairy...I had to wear a pink wig, wings, a tutu, and carry a wand. It was pretty fun! The teachers in there were talking pictures and so were missionaries...so those will be leaked probably soon. haha. We went to the Gentrys for dinner and I love spending time with their family its always the best!! (:

I WOULD INVITE ALL OF YOU TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER UNCONDITIONALLY. NO MATTER WHAT THAT PERSON MAY LOOK LIKE, WHAT THEIR SEXUAL ORIENTATION IS, OR HOW POOR OR RICH YOU THINK THEY ARE. EVERYONE NEEDS LOVE, EVEN IF THEY DONT DESERVE IT...SHOW THEM LOVE ANYWAYS (:
